Synopsis: "Things have gotten way beyond weird for David and the gang. They've been hunted by trolls, entertained Vikings, fought in a war against Aztecs and their heart-eating god, encountered Merlin, met some strange alienlike metalsmiths, and got a chance to see their very first real, live dragon. It's been a strange few days, to say the least. Their "journey" started out as a search for a friend, but things have turned dangerous. Because now April and the others are about to discover the true opposite of heaven - and it isn't a very nice place..."

OMZ! Realm of the Reaper was so very good. Forget what I said about Enter the Enchanted being my favorite in the series. This one totally blew it out of the water. Okay, so Realm of the Reaper is the fourth installment in the Everworld series and is told from Jalil's point of view.
I have found him to be a fairly interesting character to read about in this series. Especially when he's back in the real world where he has OCD. But it doesn't seem to affect him when he's in Everworld.
the best part is when they wind up in "Her City"; its kind of hard to sum up the city without giving away to much, but let's just say the come face to face with one of Loki's children and she is truly disturbed. So much so that even he fears her.
I had the hardest time putting it down especially when the were picked by Hel to be her play things; all because Senna tried to bargain for safety and used them as bargaining chips.
The best part of the book for me would have to be how Jalil, David, and Christopher were repulsed, yet they still wanted her; along with the description of Hel.
Realm of the Reaper is definitely my favorite book in the series.

Realm of the Reaper earns 5 out of 5 pineapples.
