In My Mailbox (89) Or Take Two Because Blogger Ate My Last IMM

In My Mailbox was started by Kristi of The Story Siren and inspired by Alea of Pop Culture Junkie. Sadly the only books I order are those that are hard to find. The following books are from the library and bookstores.

Won:
Clarity (Clarity, 1) by Kim Harrington, 2011. Published by Scholastic Point.
I am really looking forward to reading Clarity, especially since I've heard nothing but good things about it since it came out.

Blog Tour/Review:

Cinderella: Ninja Warrior (Twisted Tales, 1) by Maureen McGowan, 2011. Published by Silver Dolphin Books.
I've already finished reading this book, which I found to be a quite delightful read. You can see my review of it on Monday (which is my day for the book tour).

Thanks to Teddy of Premier Virtual Book Tours.
Bought (Books-a-Million):

The Last Days (Peeps, 2) by Scott Westerfeld, 2006. Published by Razorbill.
When I saw that BAM had The Last Days in the cover that matches my copy of Peeps, I knew that I wouldn't be leaving without it. I love having matching covers of books within a series, plus this cover is a better portrayal of the actual book.

Reckoning (Bloodlines, 2) by Kate Cary, 2007. Published by Razorbill.
Seriously, I thought my day was made with finding The Last Days, but to also find Reckoning which has been on my wishlist since I read Bloodline was like icing on the cake. I'm really looking forward to rereading Bloodline so  that I can FINALLY read Reckoning.

The Winning Element (The Specialists, 3) by Shannon Greenland, 2008. Published by Puffin.
Okay, I really enjoyed Model Spy when I read it, so when I saw that they had one of the other books in the series I decided I'd just get it. Even though it's the third book since they're so hard to find.

Tam Lin by Pamela Dean, 2006. Published by Puffin.
I really loved reading Pamela Dean's Secret Country trilogy so I though that I'd give this a shot. Plus I didn't get a chance to finish it when I checked it out from the library last year.

Lulu Dark Can See Through Walls (Lulu Dark, 1) by Bennett Madison, 2006. Published by Razorbill.
I love mystery books, and this one sounded pretty interesting (plus it was such a great price that I decided to give it a shot). I'll let you guys know what I think about it...when I get a chance to read it.

Bought (Used Bookstore):
Gaba Kawa by Rie Takada, 2008. Published by Viz Media.
I really enjoyed reading Gaba Kawa. It was one of the funniest and cutest mangas I've read in awhile.

Nightfall (Vampire Diaries: The Return, 1) by L.J. Smith, 2009. Published by Harper Teen.
Okay, I have been wanting to read the latest VD books for ages (love the original four), but I'm kind of nervous about starting it. My only hope is that its just as good as the others. I'll be reading Nightfall after I have a chance to reread the first four books.

Library:
Skip Beat 1 by Yoshiki Nakamura, 2004. Published by Viz Media.
I absolutely enjoyed this one and am hoping (like crazy) that I'll be able to get my hands on the next volume.

Bleach 1 by Tite Kubo, 2002. Published by Viz Media.
I LOVE watching Bleach on TV; I even have the first two seasons on DVD. So how could I pass up the opportunity to read the manga.

Dramacon 2 by Svetlana Chmakova, 2006. Published by Tokyopop.
So far I've found this series to be interesting, yet also frustrating. I'm hoping that I'll be able to find the last volume so I can see how it will all end.

While I went a bit buy happy this week, I am happy to say that the five books I got from BAM only cost me $5 and change (they had a bin of books for $1 each).  *Score*
I would've had this up sooner, but it seems that Blogger ate most of it during the time it was down. Which was sad because it had taken me ages to write this, plus I'm sure that I have forgotten to add something back (I'll probably remember it in time for next weeks IMM).

I hope y'all have had an awesome book week as well.
