Wish List Wednesday (40) Are You Really Surprised About This Weeks Pick...I Didn't Think So

Inheritance (The Inheritance Cycle, 4) by Christopher Paolini, Nov 8, 2011. Published by Knopf Books for Young Readers.
Not so very long ago, Eragon Shadeslayer, Dragon Rider was nothing more than a poor farm boy, and his dragon, Saphira, only a blue stone in the forest. Now the fate of an entire civilization rests on their shoulders.
Long months of training and battle have brought victories and hope, but they have also brought heartbreaking loss. And still, the real battle lies ahead: they must confront Galbatorix. When they do, they will have to be strong enough to defeat him. And if they cannot, no one can. There will be no second chances.

The Rider and his dragon have come further than anyone dared to hope. But can they topple the evil king and restore justice to Alagaesia? And if so, at what cost?

This is the much-anticipated, astonishing conclusion to the worldwide bestselling Inheritance cycle.
Why: Because I've only been waiting 3 years for this book to come out. So if this weeks book was a surprise I guess that means you didn't see all my posts about it last week...

While I'm excited that I'll finally be able to know how it all ends, I admit that I'm a little sad to see the series draw to a close. Mainly because when I first read Eragon it was because my mom picked it up on a whim thinking that it would be something I'd enjoy, which it definitely turned out to be.

I'm so excited about the last book that (with much support from other fans of the series) I'm hosting a Re-read for the entire series. Go HERE for all the deets and to join.
