Daisy, Rose and Poppy think it's a coincidence, until the rumors start that their father, who disappeared several years ago, has been spotted in town. Meanwhile, Daisy's beau, Ryan is spending all of his time training for football, and like the other guys on the team, he's grown enormous almost overnight. Samantha Devereux's boyfriend's neck has doubled in size since school ended. Could the football players be resorting to extreme measures to win? Between summer jobs, sugar rushes, and beach parties, the Giordano girls get to the bottom of these mysteries and more."

Since Dead Is So Last Year was so short I'm going to make this a short review, so as to not give anything to crucial away.

I didn't think it was possible, but Dead Is So Last Year was even better then the first two books in the series.
My absolute favorite thing about the Dead Is series would have to be the Giordano sisters and the mysteries that they come across; I like how close Daisy, Poppy, and Rose are, without the book coming across as corny.
While the Dead Is books are great fun to read, I tend to find the plots just a tad predictable. Regardless of predictability, they are written very well, with a great cast of characters, and interesting mysteries.
My favorite part of Dead Is So Last Year would have to be when Sam was chewing out her boyfriend Sean. It was just so funny, plus he totally deserved it.
My least favorite thing about the book would have to be that it was so short and over way before I was ready to be done with it.
Dead Is So Last Year was a delectably fast and light read that can be devoured in one sitting and I cannot wait to read the next book in the series.

Dead Is So Last Year earns 5 out of 5 pineapples.
