Pre-Review: Shade's Children

Shade's Children by Garth Nix, 1998.

Since I'm participating in the YA of the 80s and 90s, I decided that I would re-read Shade's Children, which was the first book by Garth Nix that I ever read.

Pre-Review:

I love the characters, and the story is one of the most original that I've ever read. I'm kind of shocked that it has taken me like five years to get around to re-reading it. Luckily, it has been so long since I last read it (and some many other books have been read since) that its like I'm reading it for the first time.
