I'm going to start this review off by saying that Prophecy of the Sisters has turned out to be one of the best books that I have read this year. It was so good that I plan on purchasing a finished copy of it at some point. I loved Michelle Zink's writing in Prophecy of the Sisters and I thought this was a great first book from a new author (being that it's an ARC, I was surprised to find very few mistakes). The plot and flow of the story had me turning the pages till late into the night wondering what was going to happen next and if Lia would ever find the answers to the prophecy.The thing that I must say surprised me the most about this book was to find out that it's the first book in a trilogy (which I found out before I started it). One of my favorite things about Prophecy of the Sisters was how different Lia and Alice were from each other. They each had such distinct personalities. Another interesting part about this book was the actual prophecy and how it affected both of the sisters, and how it has been going on for centuries without anyone finding a way or having the willpower to end it once and for all. Truly I cannot put into words without giving away anything how much I enjoyed reading this book. I will say though that I am happily waiting for the next book in the series so my curiosity can (hopefully) be satisfied.
Prophecy of the Sisters earned 5 out of 5 pineapples.

Great Reivew. I love this cover version of the book. But the other one is awesome too. Glad to see you absolutely loved it!!! Maybe I should move it to the top of my TBR list.

ReplyDeleteI hadn't actually realized it was the start of a trilogy and am so glad you mentioned that! I am excited to try this book since everyone who reads it, like it or not, seems to love the writing.
