Yet another awesome book written by Madeleine L'Engle. Dragons in the Waters was a truly fascinating read even though most of the book to place on the ship Orion. I must say that I wasn't surprised to find out that Simon's cousin Forsyth was both greedy and up to absolutely no good.
The only thing that truly shocked me was who actually killed Forsyth Phair. I mean I didn't see that one coming at all. 
An interesting thing about this book was the idea that the Umara of the Quiztanos had what was called the memory. And that both Simon and his Aunt Leonis shared in it too.
At the moment I cannot think of what my favorite part of the book was, but I'm going to say one of the highlights of the book was shortly before the death of Forsyth Phair. Especially since he had many people on board who would like nothing more than to see him dead.
All in all, Dragons in the Waters is a fascinating read about setting right the wrongs of the past and friendship. As corny as that might sound, it was a still a fantastic read.
