[Blog Tour Edition] Spinning Pages (23): Murder Among the Stars/One Shot

Oftentimes, while I'm reading a song will pop into my head because the book makes me think of it; sometimes the reverse happens and a random song will make me think of a book I have read. Spinning Pages is a combination of my love for books and music. More often than not, the inspiration for these posts strikes while I have music thumping in my ears while exercising (kind of like how this feature came to be). 

This week on Spinning Pages is a special edition version. What's so special about it, well, this week's book and post is part of the blog tour for Murder Among the Stars by Laura L. Sullivan and Adam Shankman. 

Every single time that I thought I had the perfect song for this book, well, another one would come along and find itself more suitable than the last. After running through five, or so,  different songs that made think of certain aspects of the book, I have finally settled on the one.

After reading Murder Among the Stars, there were a few characters that I wanted to slap because they were playing a dangerous game in order to advance their careers. That aside, I chose B.A.P's One Shot (which happens to an absolute favorite of mine) because it made me think of the competition that Lulu and the girls were going through for their big shot at stardom.

I especially like this song for Lulu herself. There were times when she wanted to walk away from it all, especially when things were particularly dangerous, but she could never just give up.
