Isaac the Alchemist by Mary Losure-

People out in the countryside looked up and stared, frozen with fear. If a light was a comet, they thought, it was a sign of coming doom. 

While I was hoping this would be an informative read, I was nervous that it would be dry. Yet it ended up being such a fascinating read. You can see why I found Isaac the Alchemist to be such an interesting read by checking out my review.
