In My Mailbox (103) Where Are All These Books Going to Go!

In My Mailbox, Inspired by Alea of Pop Culture Junkie and hosted by Kristy of The Story Siren.Review:
The Storm Guardians (Rising Dawn Saga, 2) by Stephen Zimmer, 2010. Published by Seventh Star Press.
The Seventh Throne (Rising Dawn Saga, 3) by Stephen Zimmer, 2011. Published by Seventh Star Press.
Oh my gosh, I cannot wait to see what will happen next in Stephen Zimmer's Rising Dawen saga, especially since The Exodus Gate kind of had a bit of a cliff-hanger ending.
Guess what, Stephen Zimmer will be guest posting this Friday and talking about his Rising Dawn saga. I hope ya'll will stop by and check it out because he wrote up an excellent post.
Thanks to C.C. of Seventh Star Press for the review copies.

Parterners in Crime Blog Tour:
Unreveled (Four Jane Perry Stories) by Laurel Dewey, October 4, 2011. Published by The Story Plant.

Promissory Payback (A Jane Perry Novelette) by Laurel Dewey, 2011. Published by The Story Plant.
I have never read a novelette before, so I'm pretty excited about this one. Plus the fact that both books combined are so short I can just devour them in about an hours time.
I'm also really excited to be participating on my first tour for Partners in Crime.

Thanks to Cheryl at Parterners in Crime & The Story Plant.
Won (Armchair BEA):
Chasing the Nighbird *ARC* by Krista Russell, 2011. Published by Peachtree Publishers.
I don't believe that I have ever read a historical mid-grade book, but Chasing the Nightbirs sounds like an interesting read. Plus I adore the cover.

The Cheshire Cheese Cat: A Dickens of a Tale *ARC* by Carmen Agra Deedy, Randall Wright, and illustrated by Barry Moser, October 1, 2011. Published by Peachtree Publishers.
Okay, a Dickens tale featuring a cat I cannot wait to read this one.

The Boy Who Cried Ninja by Alex Latimer, 2011. Published by Peachtree Publihers.
Planting the Wild Garden by Kathryn O. Galbraith, and illustrated by Wendy Anderson Halperin, 2011.  Published by Peachtree Publishers.
Bring on the Birds by Susan Stockdale, 2011. Published by Peachtree Publishers.
Jingle Bells: How the Holiday Classic Came to Be by John Harris, and illustrated by Adam Gustavson, October 1, 2011. Published by Peachtree Publishers.

Thanks to Tif and all the lovelies at Armchair BEA and Peachtree Publishers.

Library:
Alice 19th: The Lost Word 7 by  Yu Watase, 2004. Published by Viz Media.
The ending of the Alice 19th series was so good. I will definitely be re-reading this series again and will one day review it on the blog.

Nightschool: The Weirn Books 1 by Svetlana Chmakova, 2009. Published by Yen Press.
This one was okay, not outstanding but not a complete waste of reading time. I haven't decided if I'm going to look into reading the next volume of it yet.

The Suicide Murders (A Benny Cooperman Mystery) by Howard Engel, 1980. Published by St. Martin's Press.
I'm hoping that this book will not disappoint, mainly because I felt the need to read an old mystery book and this one just happened to have caught my eye at the library.

I do believe that this is it for me this week in books. I do hope that I haven't forgotten any, I may have since this is kinda of last minute.
Since this has been sucha  long post, there will be no wround the blog this week... except for this.
