Wish List Wednesday (64)

A Temptation of Angels by Michelle Zink, March 20, 2012. Published by Dial Books for Young Readers.
When her parents are murdered before her eyes, sixteen year-old Helen Cartwright finds herself launched into an underground London where a mysterious organization called the Dictata controls the balance of good and evil. Helen learns that she is one of three remaining angelic descendants charged with protecting the world’s past, present, and future. Unbeknownst to her, she has been trained her whole life to accept this responsibility. Now, as she finds herself torn between the angelic brothers protecting her and the devastatingly handsome childhood friend who wants to destroy her, she must prepare to be brave, to be hunted, and above all to be strong because temptation will be hard to resist, even for an angel.
Why: Because I absolutely adore Michelle Zink's writing and her Prophecy of the Sisters is one of my favorite series. Besides, this sounds like it is going to be pretty epic and the cover is beautiful.
Last Hope 1 by Michael Dignan and Kriss Sison, 2005. Published by Seven Seas.

Handsome and mysterious transfer student Hiroto Nakadai arrives at Maunaloa Academy, but he holds a secret far deeper than anyone can guess. Hiroto is actually a prince from another world, on the run from the evil Lord Kumagai and his dimension-hopping foot soldiers. Together with his newfound friends, Hiroto must journey through space and time, into the realms of the imagination, and beyond death itself in order to escape.

But first he’ll have to make it out of high school alive.
Why: This one caught my eye mainly because I noticed that Kriss Sison, the artist from Amazing Agent Jennifer, is also the artist for Last Hope. I'm really hoping to read this one because it sounds interesting and I enjoy Sison's art.
