The Iliad covers the tenth and final year of the Trojan War, though surprising enough it does not cover the destruction of the city of Troy. Instead it focuses mainly on the conflict between the immortals and the mortals and the two warring armies (jeez, a ten year war, over a girl).
At first the striping off of there opponents armor seemed a bit odd, until I realized that they would use the extra armor to replace their own armor when it needed to repaired and they wouldn't have time to fix it.
Frankly, I hated Paris. He was selfish, vain, cowardly, and the whole bloody war was HIS fault!!! I'm not even going to get started on how much I disliked Helen.

Although, I must admit that it was a mildly interesting read. Which is why I am giving it a rating of 2 out of 5 cameo pendents.

The Iliad is very, very violent. Kind of like 300 and Kill Bill.
Hmm, violence, especially on the level of 300 and Kill Bill, is not my thing. D:
