Japanese Spider-Man
This video is just too funny to not share with everyone out there in the blogosphere. So here is what Marvel has to say about the Japanese Spider-Man show from the 70's.
The video is acting kind of wonky. So I will try to re-post it at a later date.
Ok , the video is back and working today.
"Today we celebrate, webheads, for the glory that is the Japanese "Spider-Man" show, produced by Toei, makes its Marvel.com debut! Starting today, fans far and wide can stream episodes of the show right here on Marvel.com, with "new" episodes going up every Thursday!
Produced by Toei Company in the late 1970s, the series follows the exploits of motorcycle racer turned super hero Takuya Yamashiro (not Peter Parker), as he slings and swings, battling the evil Iron Cross Army along the way. No, it's not the Spider-Man most fans are used to, but it's fun, frantic and FREE. Watch the first episode below and come back every Thursday for more Spidey action!"

ReplyDeleteThe video won't work. I'll have to see if I can watch it on Marvel's website. :P
Dahlia: It's even messed up on Marvel. Maybe they'll have it fixed at a later date. :)
ReplyDeleteIt's like a cross between Star Trek and ye olde Power Rangers. Very weird.
