Four-Four-Two by Dean Hughes-

It struck Yuki as almost comic that humans drew lines on the globe, and on both sides of those lines raised up armies. Then they fought and died to take possession of...what? Hills. Yuki knew he had to fight, and had to win, but that didn't make war anything to be proud of.

While the writing itself was a little, well, lacking, the topic itself made it well worth finishing.

I have a lot of thoughts on Four-Four-Two, too many to share here. But if you need encouraging to check this book out, then you can read my review and find out why I finished it (even with the less than stellar writing).
