I loved the Seer and the Sword, which just happens to have, like, the perfect balance of treachery, action, mixed with a little bit of a romantic interest to keep any reader turning the pages till the very end. Number of times I've read this book, at least eight times since I bought it. Number of times it disappoints, zero. From the very beginning you find that Torrina (what an odd name) is compassionate and free spirited (she’s also a bit spoiled and headstrong, but what princess isn’t) when she sets free Landen (her father conquered his kingdom and killed his father the king) whom her father had given to her as a slave.
As an unlikely friendship slowly develops between the two of them a conspiracy for control over the kingdom of Archeld is beginning to come to a head, as the vile Vesputo sets his evil scheme to take over the kingdom into motion and the lives of Torrina and Landen and everyone else are changed (yet again) forever.
I would definitely rank this as one of my favorite books to re-read.

I think I might have read that before, Torrina and Landen sound really familiar, but I'm not possitive. Maybe I'll read it to be sure... ;)
