Belinda Balletomania

Yoo-hoo! Hello!
How terrifically fabulous that you've asked me to write a guest post! I felt for sure you'd invite wonderful Tilda instead of me, but we know she can't quite make it at the moment...
Being the organizer of the annual hat recital I felt it was only fitting that I be the one to write this. Mayor Melic wanted to, but I had to put up my hand and perhaps push out my chest to of course reveal how the ribbon on the top of my dress perfectly matched the ribbon on my last Tilda Pinkerton hat.
You must know that Tilda Pinkerton hats are like none other in the galaxy, in fact, they are the only. When you are granted one, whatever hidden talent you've had hidden deep inside your sweet self suddenly bursts forth. I hope everyone gets a Tilda Pinkerton hat.

Tilda Pinkerton's Magical Hats

You may have noticed my name - Belinda Balletomania - fits me to a tee. Thank you to a few of my large collection of Tilda Pinkerton hats I can still do a pirouette, despite the fact that my backside protrudes as much as her front, thank you very much.
I like to believe my talent for dance and all things for the stage have nothing to do with my hats, but the truth is that Tilda Pinkerton, bless her divine diva self, brought out the best in me. He hats make my most precious talent shine. I simply love Tilda and all that she does for us.
I'm sure if a certain someone on Ooleeoo (named Karin Kainotophobia) were to get her fists into this post she would have horrible things to say about Tilda and disparaging things to say about hats too!

I Love Tilda Pinkerton!

Sadly, not everyone who is loveable is loved.
How anyone could not adore Tilda Pinkerton is lost on me. But like everyone here on Ooleeoo, and in the World of Paper and Glue, Miss Karin Kainotophobia's name fits her personality perfectly. Kainotophobia means excessive fear of anything new or of change.
Well, lo and behold, Tilda Pinkerton brought complete change and all things new to Ooleeoo and what did Karin do? Try to ruin everything! I cannot even speak of it. I know, rules are taught that we are all together in this predicament, I mean planet, but I still cannot look Karin in the eye. Of course she cannot stand me either and we all know why - I have far more hats than that little red spy.

May Your Hats Be Magical

So, as I too wait to see what happened in the end (only Tilda's pet toad knows), I keep my favorite Tilda hat on while I pet Jessie Joss. He is my darling kitty who of course is treated like the idol Joss means. He is fluffy and white with gray tips on his paws and a Tilda hat too, a gray bonnet, to match. Not only humans can wear hats, you know.
I can only hope and pray everyone on Earth wears hats and thinks of Tilda Pinkerton when they do. She put a little bit of herself and her Light into each of the ones she gave us. I believe you just might have the same kind of surprise in yours too.

Tune Your Telescopes

From where you are, if you look past the southern edge of the Virgo constellation, you can see our Sombrero Galaxy. If your telescope is correctly aligned, set it to Right Ascension: 12h 39m 59.4s and Declination: -11° 37’ 23”. From Earth, our home will look like a smudge in the sky. When you see a bright twinkle - that might be a sign from Tilda Pinkerton.
Tip your hat to Tilda and wish upon a star that the time everyone receives a magical hat is not too far.
