I actually enjoyed reading Ink Exchange more than Wicked Lovely. I liked more because it was infinitely darker, which made for a more interesting read.

Another thing I liked about this book was how Aislinn, Seth, Donia, Keenan weren't really there, but yet they were. Which loosely tied the books togther without making it all about the characters from Wicked Lovely. Giving Leslie a chance to tell her story without losing the limelight and being overshadowed.

I found Irial to be a fascination character who was just old and tired of ruling over the darkcourt and the brutal dark faeries.

The only thing I didn't like about Ink Exchange was how Leslie willingly lost herself temporarly to the allures of the dark court. But she did impress me when she decided that enough was enough and found a way out of the ordeal and started to move on and rebuild her life.

One the coolest thing about the book were the different tattoos, like, the one that she got. I found it to be weirdly fascinating.

All in all I prefered Ink Exchange over Wicked Lovely.
