I Want to Read It (12): The Scorpio Races

I Want to Read It, a hybrid between WLW (or WOW) and what's on my to-be read pile. Well, instead of focusing just on books I would like to acquire, I will be using it to feature books that I just want to read. From the one's I want to buy to the one's sitting on my TBR at home.

The Scorpio Races by Maggie Stiefvater, October 18, 2011. Published by Scholastic Press.
It happens at the start of every November: the Scorpio Races. Riders attempt to keep hold of their water horses long enough to make it to the finish line. Some riders live. Others die.
At age nineteen, Sean Kendrick is the returning champion. He is a young man of few words, and if he has any fears, he keeps them buried deep, where no one else can see them.
Puck Connolly is different. She never meant to ride in the Scorpio Races. But fate hasn’t given her much of a chance. So she enters the competition — the first girl ever to do so. She is in no way prepared for what is going to happen.

Why: So, I'm considering reading The Scorpio Races by Maggie Stiefvater. I have no idea what it is about, nor do I particularly care to read the synopsis as I want to go in blind, should I choose to read it. But, I need to know, without spoilers, is it worth my time to give it a shot?

Seriously though, do you guys think I should add it to my TBR? Is this a good or bad idea?? TELL ME!!
