YA Review: Crown of Midnight

I have been trying to find the words for this review for days and days. So long in fact that I was starting to wonder if this review would ever be more than a blank screen.
I'm not even sure where to start when it comes to Sarah J. Maas' Crown of Midnight and the happenings in the second installment of her incredible Throne of Glass series. Let's just say that I don't know how I'll survive until I'm able to read Heir of Fire and see what will happen to the characters next. This is just one of those series were I need more...and more...right this moment.
Crown of Midnight was such a great follow-up and continuation of Celaena's story; as well as that of Chaol and Dorian. With everyone raving about how the series gets better with each book, I was nervous because sometimes that second book is more bridging filler than actual progression within the story-line. Thankfully, this book was anything but filler. I loved seeing the progression of the relationships between the characters and how complex things were becoming with the interactions with not just each other, but within the world itself.
I'm not even sure where to start when it comes to Sarah J. Maas' Crown of Midnight and the happenings in the second installment of her incredible Throne of Glass series. This book, no, this series just makes me want to flail around with it's awesomeness! Why, because these books have some of the things I love best in fantasy books-a well built can world, characters that are interesting and surprise you at every turn, and a story line that moves well and progresses quite well.

In the end, Crown of Midnight has to be one of the best fantasy sequels I've read in quite some time. From the writing and overall story is what makes this such a great read. So, if like me, and you are incredibly behind the times on reading Sarah J. Maas' wonderful Throne of Glass series, I highly recommend that you remedy this immediately! Odds are you will not be disappointed in the fast paced, addictive series.
