Teaser Tuesday

Teaser Tuesdays is hosted by MizB of Should Be Reading. To participate, simply do the following: Grab your current read Open to a random page Share two (2) “teaser” sentences from somewhere on that page
BE CAREFUL NOT TO INCLUDE SPOILERS! (make sure that what you share doesn’t give too much away! You don’t want to ruin the book for others!)
Share the title & author, too, so that other TT participants can add the book to their TBR Lists if they like your teasers!
This weeks teaser is taken from A Candidate for Murder by Joan Lowery Nixon and Provex City by Michael Pierce. Enjoy.

A Candidate for Murder by Joan Lowery Nixon (my review):
One we were safely inside the car I fell apart and sobbed all over Mom's shoulder. She let me cry, but when I reached the point at which nothing was left but dry hiccups she hugged me and said, "Cary, honey, we're so terribly sorry that this had to happen to you." page 114

Provex City by Michael Pierce (review up on the 1/18/13):
The florescent lights on the far end of the locker room went out, followed by the next row, and the next-until the only lights illuminated were directly above the row where the three boys stood.
"I'm getting out of here," Logan said and ventured into the shadows, headed toward the door. page 75
