To escape the townspeople’s wrath, she and her friends embark on a wild road trip to DeMyse. Though this sparkling desert oasis is full of luxuries and amusements, it feels like a prison to Lex. Her best chance at escape would be to stop Zara once and for all—but how can she do that from DeMyse, where the Grims seem mysteriously oblivious to Zara’s killing spree?
Why: After the way Croak ended I am absolutely dying to know what will happen next. Plus, Croak was one of the biggest surprises bookwise of 2012.The writing and hilarity of book one just blew me away and now I want more.
Loved Croak too. I'vebeen lucky enough to get my hands on an ARC at BEA, and I have to say that the sequel is excellent. All the things that made me fall for Croak were still there, and more. Great pick!

I started Croak absolutely detesting the novel, but halfway through the book my view completely changed! I can't wait for Scorch!!
