I Want to Read It (31): The Road to Ever After

I Want to Read It, a hybrid between WLW (or WOW) and what's on my to-be read pile. Well, instead of focusing just on books I would like to acquire, I will be using it to feature books that I just want to read. From the one's I want to buy to the one's sitting on my TBR at home.

Davy David, an orphan, lives by his wits in the dead-end town of Brownvale. When a stray dog called George turns Davy's life upside down just days before Christmas, he sets in motion a chain of events which forces them to flee. A mischievous wind blows the two of them to a boarded-up museum on the outskirts of town where they meet the elderly recluse, Miss Flint. She has planned one last adventure before her time is up and hires the reluctant Davy and George to escort her.

Why

Why am I only just now hearing about The Road to Ever After!! It sounds like such a wonderful book; and I have been waiting ages for another book by Moira Young!! After loving Blood Red Road intensely, I cannot wait to see what kind of story her newest book will turn out to be. The fact TRtEA looks remarkably different from her other series it was has caught my eye. I'm more than ready to see where her writing will go in such a different setting!!
