There is so much to enjoy when reading this one! For me, it was a mix of the writing, characters and overall plot. I really enjoyed reading about Kate and her family during this rough time they were going through.

I was disappointed, too. I didn't love social studies but I liked Mrs. Nagano because she treated us like people, not pesky kids.
