Teaser Tuesday

Teaser Tuesdays is hosted by MizB of Should Be Reading. To participate, simply do the following: Grab your current read Open to a random page Share two (2) “teaser” sentences from somewhere on that page
BE CAREFUL NOT TO INCLUDE SPOILERS! (make sure that what you share doesn't give too much away! You don’t want to ruin the book for others!)
Share the title & author, too, so that other TT participants can add the book to their TBR Lists if they like your teasers!

This week's teasers are taken from The Caged Graves by Dianne Salerni and Orion Poe and the Lost Explorer by William Summerhouse and Uncovering Cobbogoth by Hannah L. Clark.. Enjoy.

The Caged Graves by Dianne Salerni (my review):
She knew the look of a young man planning to steal a kiss. She'd been ducking ornery lips since she was fifteen years old. She'd even been caught a few times, and that hadn't been too terrible-rather like cupcakes: sweet and finished quickly. page 153

Orion Poe and the Lost Explorer by William Summerhouse (my review):
I didn't know her very well then, you see, or I never would've. She was the bravest girl that ever lived-and still is. page 259

Uncovering Cobbogoth by Hannah L. Clark (my review):
"According to the records Jack found in the city, each citizen who was old enough would donate a certain amount of blood to the temple every year. Apparently, Cobbogothians were even more adept at storing blood than the Egyptians were at storing body organs." page 90
